What’s up with our CHILDREN?

Vacation Bible School
June 16 – 20
5:00-7:30 pm
We will be taking a Road Trip this summer with a few of our closest friends (about 50 to be a little more exact!). This Vacation Bible School Road Trip will be filled with fun, excitement, joy and learning about God. We will enjoy Bible stories that teach us of disciples traveling with God, and we will learn about Jesus’ travels in the Bible. We will make different crafts, also teaching us the Lord God is always with us. The children will make a joyful noise each evening singing of the promise that God is always with us. Our travelers will end their week knowing:
The Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
-Joshua 1:9
For Road Trip week to be a success we will need many volunteers. We need “tour guides” to help lead the children to each activity throughout the evening. We need help in the kitchen as we will serve dinner to the children (and volunteers) each night. There are many opportunities to get involved in this wonderful week of fun and fellowship.
Children’s Ministry
Children have opportunities for children to learn the stories from The Bible in Sunday School. Children are taught songs and prayers that support and enhance the stories.
Monthly activities are offered that help nurture and foster the overall well-being of children. We usually meet on Sundays from 3:00-5:00.
TGIW is a mid-week program, that allows children to continue their spiritual growth through positive social connections. Supper begins at 5:00, with classes to follow.
Vacation Bible School is a week-long celebration that is sponsored in early June.
Throughout the year, other children’s opportunities are offered that focus on holiday celebrations, mission and outreach.
